ABOUT
I was born and spent my early life in Toronto, Canada. At 9 I moved to England and was taken out of familiar city surroundings to the countryside. My father was a keen photographer and he would buy me cheap cameras that I would carry around taking pictures of my friends and the adventures we went on. At the age of 13, I got into skateboarding and I would spend hours immersed in the photographs featured in skateboard magazines. Due to the nature of the sub culture I realised I was also learning to appreciate how these images captured architecture, cityscapes, people and the human form in action. At 16 my father gave me his Canon AE-1 and that was it. I would hire out darkrooms to pursue my own photography and had my work shown in the Brighton and Hove Museum. In 2000 I started my BA (Hons) at University of Brighton. Since then I've had photographs featured in Sidewalk magazine and various websites. I've photographed for Windle and Moodie salon, Sassy and Snide look book and have assisted at Park Royal Studio and for Donald Christie.
